2:03:38 - Makau is now the Marathon record holder

Patrick Makau Musyoki (Kenya) won today the Berlin Marathon 2011 at 2:03:38 hours.
Makau is now the current marathon record holder.

Geoffrey Mutai (Kenya) is the world fastest marathon runner. He ran and finished the 2011 Boston Marathon on April 18, 2011, at 2:03:02 hours. However, it was not recognized as a world records since Boston course failed the IAAF criteria for world record eligibility.

Ask for your "Memeber of the 42.2 Club" bumper sticker from your marathon organizer, or contact the desk at your marathon expo.

How to get a 42.2 bumper sticker in the mail ?

If you are qualified marathon runner but not a member yet,

- Please register as a member and then submit at least one marathon score
(up to five scores).

If you are already a member and you have submitted at least one marathon
score, please log on, and then

- Please click on the "Get One Now" on the lower right-hand side of this
page.

You'll get a message on your screen that provides a postal address of an authorized distributor.

- You will be then requested to attach and send in the mail:

(a) A self addressed envelope (including your own postage for the return
mail). If the distributor address is outside your country, for the return mail you have to purchase a sort of an international stamp called IRC. It is sold at every local post office for about 2 Euros (IRC= International Reply Coupon).

(b) A certificate of finishing at least one official marathon race.

Providing the above attachments will grant  every marathon finisher the 42.2 sticker for free. It is our pleasure.
